Message from Ken to the Community:

I’m enthused to have been entrusted by the Board of Trustees to serve as the Town Administrator.  I have worked in a variety of communities around the country but upon visiting Paonia for the first time I knew this is where I wanted to come to live, work, and play.  As you can see from the picture to the left; I have been a member of an award winning cook team.  I specialize in Texas Chili and a 5-5-5 salsa (not for the light of heart – I make it HOT).  I do hope the sports fans of the community will forgive me for not giving up my boyhood fandom.  Being from Maine I have rooted for the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and – yes – the Patriots all my life and don’t plan on giving up on any of them any time soon.  I fully plan on making Paonia my home so if you see me around town; just say hi.

CODE RED
OH JOY! - Be Advised - The boil order has been lifted! What this means: the Town has repeatedly passed ALL test samples for the duration of the boil order and following the disinfection of the system. You do not have to boil your water, it is safe for all uses.

Be advised: There will be an elevated level of chlorine in the system for an extended period of time. You may notice air and/or cloudy water. This will dissipate as people use the water and flush the lines.

We want to thank everyone for their understanding and patience during this event, as well as a HUGE thank you to all who volunteered and shared kind words for us here at Town Hall and out working in the field.
